Palette Knife Painting Workshops in Dublin 13

I run small one-day palette knife painting workshops from my studio in Donaghmede, Dublin 13.

The workshops are suitable for complete beginners as well as people who already paint and would like to try something different.

You’ll spend the day learning how to use a palette knife with acrylics or oils, working through the painting with my guidance throughout.

I keep each workshop to a maximum of 8 people, so there’s plenty of time for individual help.

You just need to wear old clothes and bring a packed lunch.

What Happens on the Day

You’ll work on a painting using palette knife techniques, with guidance from me as you go.

I’ll help with things like:

choosing and mixing colours
applying paint with a palette knife
building texture and depth
composition
correcting areas that aren’t working
finishing the painting so you leave with something you’re happy with

You don’t need any previous experience.

If you already paint, the workshop is a good chance to try working more loosely and experiment with texture and different ways of applying paint.

Everything You Need Is Supplied

All painting materials are included in the workshop price.

That includes the paints, canvas and the materials you’ll need to work with on the day.

You don’t need to buy anything beforehand.

Just wear clothes you don’t mind getting paint on and bring a packed lunch.

Small Groups

Each workshop is limited to a maximum of 8 people.

Keeping the group small means I can spend time helping everyone individually rather than leaving you to figure things out on your own.

Workshop Fee

The full day’s workshop is €135. A €60 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place.

The remaining balance is due before or on the workshop day, depending on the booking arrangements for that date.

Workshops take place at my private studio in Donaghmede, Dublin 13.
