About Frances Verschoyle

Frances Verschoyle is a Dublin-based artist and art teacher, originally from Co. Wicklow, with a passion for helping people discover their creativity and develop confidence in their own artistic abilities.

Working across a range of mediums and styles, Frances creates original paintings that move from traditional to contemporary. Her own artistic journey has been shaped by many influences, including the work and teaching style of Bob Ross, as well as artists from different cultures, traditions and disciplines.

Alongside her own painting practice, Frances teaches and mentors students of different experience levels, from complete beginners to more experienced artists. Her approach is relaxed, encouraging and personal, helping each student develop practical skills while finding the techniques, subjects and mediums that suit them best.

For Frances, learning to paint is not about producing a perfect picture. It is about building confidence, experimenting, enjoying the creative process and discovering what you are capable of.

Frances has exhibited at Art Ireland at the RDS, Merrion Square, St Stephen’s Green and other venues throughout Dublin and Ireland. Her original artwork has been purchased by collectors, and she also creates commissioned pieces for clients looking for something personal and unique.

Frances currently offers adult art classes, painting workshops and private or corporate art experiences in Dublin, alongside her own original artwork and commissions.

Original artwork is available to purchase, and commissions are welcome.
